The Men’s Ministry’s guiding scripture can be found in Ephesians 6:10, which states: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.”
At New Deliverance, every male member of the church is automatically a member of the Men’s Ministry. The Men’s Ministry mentors the young men of the church and provides male presence, safety and security for the church and its activities.
Men’s Ministry members serve as volunteer greeters for Sunday morning worship service. They work with all ministries of the church on setup and clean up for events. The Men’s Ministry provides leadership for church-wide efforts to feed the homeless and to build comradery, and periodically they hold men’s prayer breakfasts. The Men’s Ministry provides resources to purchase holiday gifts for the youth of the church and community.
In 2020, the Men’s Ministry also collaborated with the Deacon’s Ministry to provide meals to frontline workers during the COVID pandemic. To learn more about the Men’s Ministry and how you can get involved, please contact the Moderator at mensministry@newdchurch.com.
